Frame by Frame

These were a bunch of frames we have to do for a video in my digital design class, you can clearly see my slow decent into madness through this.

Perils of Painting

Two week painting, around 3 hours for 2 sessions.
First week session, getting all the colours down quick time, no idea for the background.

Final piece.
Definitely learned that taking my time on stuff actually works. Also, when in doubt PUT A DEER. TRUST ME ON THIS.

Art in Motion

Warm up sketches
During this life drawing exercise the model moved continuously back and forth between a couple of poses and we needed to draw them, I loved it, it felt like drawing in betweens for an animation and overlaying them all at once. Got a lot of good results!

Similar concept here but the model posed longer (about 5 minutes) for each pose, we needed to erase and add onto the drawing.  This happens to be my favourite model Ron, this guy can seriously pose.

This was a result of switching spots and papers with neighbours and doing the same.

Digital Design Classwork

For class we need to take a photo and play around in photoshop for a bit, I chose one I took in Rome, Italy, which I have recently found out that the original artist is Hogre (check out some of his stuff.). A brilliant stencil that really caught my eye and sparked my imagination.

This was my favourite attempt.

Well it's been a while.

Hey guys! So it has been quite a while since I've updated heh.
Well here is something to get back in the swing of things.

This is my final portfolio for photography, I chose close-ups of nature since it was way easier to photograph plants and rocks than it is to photograph people. These were my absolute favourites!

Random Subject Matter Paintings

Just a bunch of 5x7 paintings I did for my painting class but forgot to bring to class. WHOOPS.
Below each painting is a description of what they're supposed to be, and the connection between all of these things is me and stuff that interests me.
All done in acrylic on canvas board.

Silly logo design

Playing around with a silly logo for a clothing line, style being mostly bright colours, fun print and the like.

Stylish yet affordable?
All BARK and no bite?
Stop me before I continue.
Logo for clothing line: leBARK

The symbol for leBARK, the french poodle.
Mostly just showing off the colour possibilities.
